The Green Exception carries Nemi Virel’s cooperative and the living artwork A Small Green Weather through M314. During gate failure, Kaiven catches it inside a narrowing transit field. Survival depends on every crew member acting through their different body and expertise, including releasing the line Nemi had prohibited under ordinary conditions.

The vessel supports a six-limbed rigger, broad chemist, aviform navigator, botanical engineer, and Nemi without declaring any one shape standard. Lines can be reached from several orientations. Humidity zones are workspaces. Root fans can grip the deck. Ceiling routes are ordinary routes.
Its many greens result from repair batches, aesthetic choices, and votes that ended when work became more urgent than agreement. Shared ownership does not remove conflict. It gives conflict minutes, tools, and the obligation to continue sharing air afterward.
